He is gracious and accommodating, knows all the cultural context, and is a bit of a local celebrity! He arranged a great three day trip for us, even modifying the itinerary to find us a beautiful and challenging hike off the beaten track in the mountains. Lalibela is a true world class destination and the churches live up to their amazing reputation. It is a bit of an adventure in that region right now, so you need to be a little intrepid. But if that is you, you should definitely go, and definitely go with Experience Ethiopia!
